QSM was established in 2006 and based in Hungary, QSM provides supply-chain, warehousing and quality support for international manufacturers serving the European market. QSM supports manufacturers with customs warehousing, safety stock, VMI, quality inspection, repackaging and JIT delivery from our location in Hungary.

Once your products arrive in Europe, QSM can take over the local supply-chain activities. Our team can support container unloading, incoming handling and the organization of your European stock. This means that your products do not have to move directly from the port to every individual customer. Instead, they can be consolidated and managed from a central stock point in Hungary. This creates a more flexible supply chain and gives you a local European partner for the next steps.

Keeping stock in Europe can significantly improve the flexibility of your supply chain. Instead of shipping every customer requirement directly from India, products can be stored locally at QSM in Hungary. Your European customers can then be supplied from stock that is already available in Europe. This can help reduce the pressure caused by long international lead times and gives you more flexibility when customer demand changes.

Instead of shipping smaller quantities separately to multiple European customers, you can consolidate your products into larger ocean shipments and keep the stock at QSM in Hungary. As a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) partner, QSM can monitor stock levels, follow customer call-offs and support the replenishment and delivery process. For components, traceability is an important part of reliable supply-chain management. QSM can support the identification and controlled handling of batches, lots and other agreed product identification information throughout the European stock and delivery process. This helps ensure that products can be clearly identified and supplied according to the agreed customer requirements.

QUALITY INSPECTION

Quality requirements can vary from customer to customer. QSM can support both visual and dimensional inspection according to agreed customer specifications and inspection requirements. Visual checks can help identify surface defects, damage, rust, mixed parts or other visible irregularities before the products are delivered to your customer. Where required, dimensional checks can also be performed using appropriate measuring equipment to verify critical dimensions. By carrying out these checks locally in Europe, potential issues can be identified before the products reach the final customer.

REPACKAGING – CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC PREPARATION

Products arriving from India may need to be repacked or prepared according to the specific requirements of the European customer. QSM can support customer-specific repackaging, labelling and preparation for delivery as part of the local supply-chain process. This allows products to be prepared according to agreed packaging standards before they are dispatched from our European warehouse. Repackaging can also be combined with inspection and sorting, so that products are checked and prepared before reaching the customer. This gives you greater flexibility while keeping the final preparation close to your European customers.

JIT DELIVERY

Once the products have been received, stored, inspected and prepared at QSM, they can be dispatched to your European customers according to their requirements. QSM can support customer call-offs and scheduled deliveries from the local European stock. This means your customers do not have to wait for every shipment to arrive directly from India. Products can be supplied from stock already available in Europe, helping you respond more flexibly to changing customer demand.
